2024 Martin RTB Improvements

Work on the Martin retention basin will consist of demolition of abandoned piping & structures, a new dewatering slide gate, new ventilation blower fan w/ ductwork and miscellaneous concrete repairs
Coventry Hills Wellhouse Improvements
Hamburg, MI
Work at the Coventry Hills Wellhouse consists of installation of new skid-mounted, pre-packaged treatment system for iron, manganese and arsenic removal, consisting of 4 filter media vessels mounted on 2 skids, with valving, meters, chemical injection ports, plumbing to connect to the existing pressure tank on the upstream side, and the distribution piping on the downstream side, along with all the support and hanging structures, and other associated appurtenances. Also included is the installation of a backwash water collection and sediment settling system consisting of two underground concrete tanks, a concrete wetwell for decanted water collection, with submersible pumps, float controls and timer module in a control panel, connecting piping and wiring. Additionally installation of an HDPE forcemain, by trenchless methods, to direct the decanted backwash water to an existing sanitary manhole, including tapping the manhole and installation of a P-trap by open cut methods, as well as related clean-up and restoration work, testing, calibrating, and all other work to provide a completely functioning system.
Biosolids Handling Improvements

The improvements to the biosolids handling system at the Mt. Clemens WWTP include the installation of two new dewatering screw presses and conveyor system, replacement of sludge feed pumps, demolition of existing piping and equipment, and electrical and instrumentation improvements.
